Notes are not exactly what is on the tests. Do not be fooled by the other ratings, in fact 1/4 the material on the first test was never taught. The textbook is confusing to read and the only way i studied was through the review sheet in the syllabus. otherwise great professor and easy A

Professor Francese is extremely passionate about history. Honestly his class is pretty much 1 short essay, 3 tests, and an optional project. But the project gets you an A or a B. He's a little sporadic with his lectures but you have a guide he gives to you anyway so you know what you're doing. He's really sweet and wants everyone to do well.

He is so smart, and is very passionate about what he's teaching. Sometimes the material can be boring, but overall I would definitely retake the class. Sometimes he tells off topic stories, which are always entertaining.

He is such a sweet caring man! I recommend him to anyone who needs a history class. He assigns one big project (easy) and you have three tests (all multiple choice, always). He goes off topic in lecture, but the stories you hear are great. He gives answers to his tests in his notes! Show up to class and you'll get an A. The Syllabus is clear .

such a nice man! He explains exactly what is expected of you so you know the grade you will get. Always attend class so you can write down his notes. EVERY note or word he writes on the board is in the test. So study and you will do great! I believe I got an A in the class. I did well on all his assignments.

One of the nicest teachers I've ever had. Genuinely cares for all of his students. His class is extremely easy. 3 Multiple choice tests, 1 easy required "essay" and one paper (3pgs 3 sources for a B, 6pgs 6 sources for A). Tests are based of his notes. Let's you out early every day and his lectures are always fun

Very easy going guy. tests are straight from the notes he gives in class. textbook is a waste of money if you plan to attend and take notes. google is a great textbook because it has answers to everything should you need clarification. 1 3 page paper, 1 3 page project both of which are very easy

Easiest professor at brookdale! He can be a little confusing some times but you have 4 tests which come straight from his notes. 1 paper and 1 project. Both easy A's. Oh and he always lets you out at least 30 minutes early. Great professor. Easy A with little work required

Honestly, I would NEVER suggest this professor. He is a sweet guy and means well, however, he is not a good professor. All of his tests are based on his notes, and his notes are awful. He puts random words on the board before class and then through out class underlines them and does not explain. Shows videos. Very boring. Ruined my GPA. :(

Fantastic, wonderful professor! Probably my favorite at Bdle s far. Tells you exactly what you need to get every specific grade. No homework, just one project with options. Tests are word-for-word from the notes he gives in class. He's not a strict grader; just do the work and take notes and you'll be fine. Take his class with Sorrell if you can!

Francese is a really nice guy. He rambles a little bit, but he's funny. Always gives answers for the test. He barely ever makes you stay the full 3 hours. Usually you'll get out like a half hour early. You NEVER use the book. I mean, I guess it helps for the test but I barely used it and I did fine. TAKE HIS CLASS! EASY!

Great teacher. Super easy class, just show up and take notes and you will easily pass. The tests are very easy, and he appears to grade on a curve. 4 tests, 1 paper, NO homework, interesting lecture. This guys knows his stuff, take the class.

Fun teacher! Gave you every opportunity to pass - even telling you some of the test answers! And while attendance isn't necessarily mandatory, you miss a lot if you miss a class. Highly recommend! The photo essay project was fun, too.

Great teacher. Never opened the textbook once. There are some gimmies on the tests. I just studied my notes thoroughly and I got an A. One small project. I think it was like a 2 page paper. Makes some corny sports jokes but i found it pretty funny( i dont think anyone else did lol)

Good teacher! Funny although a lot of the students in the class don't get his jokes. Very fair and tests are very straight forward. Good guy...I hope to have class with him again!
