She is one of the smartest professors I've had at OSU. She is great to learn from. Her lectures can feel long at times, but the material covered in lectures are imperative for her tests. In my experience, she is a fair grader as long as you follow her expectations and rubrics. I would highly recommend taking her for WIC course requirement.

Only one thing you need to know. She writes down "Daily Objectives" (or hands out). SAVE THESE. As she goes through class, write the answers she defines in class for each daily objective. THEN for exams, she hands out a study guide that is LITERALLY compiled from the daily objectives. Match up your answers, memorize. Ace the test. Very simple.

Nice lady and helpful if you have questions. Several papers and a Final (which was difficult). Also two speeches with powerpoints. Overall, good class.

Carol is a sweet lady who cares about her students. She has a tendency to ramble and can be boring at times. The homework was extremely hard. Tests are not so much based on knowledge as memorization.

Really boring lectures, really quiet speaking . . . half the time spent in class is awkward silence while she waits for someone to answer the question she just asked. If you don't drink a cappuccino before class, then bring a pillow.

Seems like she is scared to be up in front of the class teaching, sometimes stutters or doesnt know when you ask her a question. Overall pretty boring and irrelevant class.

This prof may know her stuff, but she's better suited for a research position. Classes are incredibly long and boring, tests are semi-relevant and the majority of her examples are out-dated or don't appeal to the class.
