Jesuits and the Arts. He co-teaches this class with Fr. Mueller. The class is really interesting and fun. There are only two grades though so you really have to do well on them. I highly recommend using the writing center for this class because they really care about grammar and punctuation. I definitely recommend the class though.

Loved Father Dempsey class! Although he requires a lot of memorization for his course, it works for student's benefit. He is clearly very knowledgeable about Art and is very passionate about it. If you truly want to have greater understanding and appreciation for art, I highly recommend that you take his class!

Can I just say that I absolutely loved Father Dempsey's class. I took it as part of a Film Studies certificate but the art history part was so great that I'm considering it as a major. He has a great background in art and a great interest in it.

His Christian Iconography class was really fun and easy. He is very nice and explains things well. There were small quizzes every day, but they are really easy if you just go over your notes from the previous class. Very approachable.

First off, whoever said he was hot, ew. He's a priest and he's not at all..yeah. Anyway, it's a lot of memorization, but if you get into the groove, it's easy. Two papers, and he takes off quite a bit for spelling/grammar, but he's pretty easy going. Some classes are boring as hell, in fact most are, but I liked it in the long run.
