Chuck definitely knows his stuff, but he doesn't really know how to teach. Study the terms; you don't even really need to know the concepts of things because the exams are all fill-in-the-blank. But you don't really have a choice, because Chuck is the only anatomy prof, and the only people who take anatomy are those who absolutely have to.

Chuck knows a lot about anatomy/phys but he isn't a good teacher. He just reads off powerpoints in a monotonous way and then tests you on the most detailed things you will never imagine. Try to get summaries off the internet, that's how I got a B+ in his class. Then cram them and make sure you know every single word in his ppts. Good luck..

I am a Guilford Alumna, class of 2005.Chuck's class IS HARD, but if you put appropriate time and effort into studying, you will do just fine. The lab was always open at night and on weekends so that you could come in and study the models. If you needed clarification or needed to arrange an alternative location for test taking,he will work w/you.
