I never bought the book and had no problems. If you can get past the studder the class is very easy. just show up everyday, look over the reviews and bring your laptop on test days. every test is open book, open notes and you can use your computer

She's a great teacher and pretty easy when it comes to tests and quizzes. You're allowed to use your materials on the test since it's an "applications course" and all of her tests are based off of the practice problems she passes out before the tests. When she assigns homework, it doesnt have to be handed in.

Excellent Professor! The Minitab program helped me immensely to see what was actually going on in the problems. Her teaching style is "tell them what they need to know, show them what they need to know and then tell them again what they need to know". Attend class, pay attention and do your homework and you will get a great grade!

she is a really nice teacher. genuinely cares about her students and always willing to answer questions. she doesnt really follow the book, but her tests are right off of the handouts- which you can use on the test. test are all open book, open notes, open computer. so take good notes and listen to what she says in class and you'll be fine!

She does not follow a lot of book instruction. She skips around in the book and teaches what's important. She allows her students to work in groups for the assignments that are to be turned in for a grade. During quizzes and tests she allows you to use the book and any notes/homework that you have in your notebook. Do homework get an A.

She changed her ways, no more retaking tests!! She is very hard to understand, her explainations lack and she spends a lot of time on the easy stuff rather then hard stuff. She only uses TI interactive and goes to fast for you to understand
