This guy is awesome. I've had him for 5+ classes as he's the main professor in my major, and he's excellent. Breaks down everything so EVERYONE understands, and is very helpful via emails. He responds very quickly. While I struggled at some points, he made sure to say that if you had problems, he would address them in class. Excellent professor.

He wants to be called Chris and only Chris, not professor, etc. He likes to tell jokes and talks about previous experiences he had with student encounters. He goes over the code on-screen and does the labs with you. He likes to make fun of Windows 8 and keeps you interested. He will give you help if you ask. Very cool guy and has a twin brother.

He is a great professor. He is funny and easy. As long as you try and ask questions when you need them he doesn't have a problem with late work. Most students are able to understand this class because of previous experience so he goes kind of fast through some things. But don't get discouraged! He will walk you through any problems.

I found this guy hilarious and intelligent but I didn't like his teaching style. He blazes through things without you getting a clear understanding of it. I liked how you could email him your questions and he would respond right away. I might of thought he was so-so because I thought the class was difficult...programming is not my thing.

Chris is a great instructor. He breaks the concepts down into something practical and understandable. Really helpful too, if you don't get it. He's had a lot of on-the-field experience, so the class is no-nonsense. Tells you what you need to know. I hope I can take another class with him.

Chris is a remarkable instructor. He is very demanding however everything he requires is so unbelievably useful in the workplace that you will be glad that he asked. He is very easy to understand and truly has passion for teaching and the software development craft. Most people will find his class challenging for all the right reasons.

VB was a tough class for me but now that I have had C and Java, I can look back objectively and say that Chris laid the fundamentals for these other languages. He did a great job! I've heard he's one of DeVry's best--they're right!
