Patty may be tough, but she's fair. She tells you exactly what she expects of you as a student, and she holds you to it. She makes everything really easy to understand though. She's a teacher first, a mathematician second. Her teaching methods are very easy to understand.

She was a great teacher. You could tell she has a lot of passion and actually cares about her students. She will go above and beyond until yoiu understand. I think she was one of my favorite teachers I've ever had!

If there was a negative rating she would get it! She wouldn't follow rules about IEPS a plan for students with disabilities, she made me cry on day 3 of school, I wanted to drop out of college because of her. It's not that I was Discriminated against, it's just that she didn't want to follow the rules. She went through material too fast.

She needs to realize we are obviously there to learn from her, all of us (as students) do not have a degree in mathematics-she does...therfore that is the reason she is being paid..to TEACH! Patti is a wonderful teacher. The notebooks are a chance for students to receive points. This is the third time for me to take this class. Other teachers could not teach me in 12 weeks that Patti has in 7. Great teacher and person! I highly recommend Patti F.

I really did NOT enjoy taking this class whatsoever. She treats you like children and gives you book checks like you're in middle school. if you're in college, you should know how to organize your books by now.also, she hardly even looks at the book work. she is very understanding though

Patti is very professional and organized. I learned all the concepts that she taught. Her teaching style is a bit too fast paced, but effective if you can manage to keep up. She makes herself available for questions. Ask questions if you don't understand, and she will answer. If you don't speak up, she will quickly move on! I recommend her.

I was TERRIFIED of math before taking this class...and told Patti that, she was helpful and encouraging. She WILL answer your questions...just DO NOT try to "play" her...you will NOT do well. She means what she says and says what she means..and the folks who complain are usually the ones who mess around and then blame the teacher. TAKE HER!

I really enjoyed taking her class. She knows what she is doing and will help you if you need help. Only negative is there is a lot of work. But the work really does benefit you in the end. I was horrible at fractions and now I understand them completely. Great teacher!
