Honestly Christian Knoeller is an absolute gem and fantastic professor. He cares so much about the intellectual and professional development of each of his students. While his projects and assignments may seem intimidating, starting a little early will help a lot. Getting positive feedback from him is one of the best feelings I've had in college.

Christian is one of my favorite professors out of any grade level. His essay prompts are sometimes odd, but very thought-provoking, and he is so genuinely passionate about English Education. START THE PROJECTS EARLY. They are pretty intensive, and the last thing you want to do is disappoint this sweet man.

This man is incredible. I've never had a teacher who cares more deeply about their students. Genuine feedback, personal lessons, and unwavering support. I cannot say enough praise for Christian. He has transformed me (and many others) into competent, confident teachers-to-be. I have formed real bonds with peers because of the environment he set up.

Had him for 2 classes, about to take a third with him. Honestly my favorite professor at Purdue. He really appreciates creativity. He'll listen to your new ideas. If you think outside the box and go above on his requirements, your grade will reflect that. He's super willing to help you and loves class participation.

Had him for 3 classes and I'm so glad for that! Since he is teaching future teachers, he makes us think for ourselves and is always encouraging. He is willing to answer all questions. I don't understand people calling his assignments vague - he even gives rubricks sometimes! He can grade tough, but why should we expect everything to be easy?

He's super nice and helpful, but can be vague on assignments. He's open to creativity, but be careful he can grade hard. Just do exactly what he says for assignments!!! He's an awesome person though and his class always goes fast!

Might be my favorite professor. He is just a cool down to earth guy. His class was interesting and helpful. At times his assignments were unclear and vague. However I thought this was the point, as teachers is anything set in stone . Think of it as you have to teach a standard, but how you teach it is up to you. BALLER DUDE!
