Had two classes with him. Both were very boring but very easy. My biggest problem with him was his lack of interest in students and horrible grading. His grading was unfair and he took forever to grade anything.. midterms weren't returned until after our finals some students didn't receive final grades until half way through the next semester.

I will say the prof. D is a nice guy, and is funny, too. But his personality is immaterial when you really can?t apply the material to his exams. I will take the course again to truly understand macroecon?I?m not trying to master it, but I want to fundamentally understand basic concepts. I recommend him if you really just want to get a grade C-B,

So boring and monotonous that i had to learn everything myself before the exams. Covers everything but lectures put to sleep, so can't really concentrate. Teaches straight from the book. Relatively easy

It was because of Prof Daniels that I majored in economics. He made me enjoy the subject. That was 1978-1980.

He is a really nice guy. He could be boring but he goes straight from the textbook. As long as you study the textbook and understand the general concepts, you're golden. Only gave 3 tests, and was fairly lenient with grading. I do recommend him, but you do have to study a lot on your own to do very well.

While I do agree that he is boring and extremely reliant on the textbook, he is pretty easy. The tests, as others say, are not bad at all. They were relatively easy considering how much you've studied. You dont really have to study that much to get a good grade. He is a very nice guy, but his monotone voice makes it hard to pay attention

he's horrible. just sits in class and reads from the book.. you have to take notes and also have to know the entire txtbk to do well in the class. he doesn't try to help you out at all. the tests are hard. horrible experience.

i hated this class with a BURNING FIERY PASSION. he sits there and reads from the book so everyone stops coming to class. then he doesnt tell you whats on the tests so by the final you end up having read the WHOLE ENTIRE text book. its ridiculous.

This guy is awesome! He has a nonchalant attitude about everything, and he doesn't really care if you show up or not. At first it comes off like he doesn't care, but if you take the time to actually talk to him (office hours, etc) he is really helpful. At least you'll get a laugh out of his behavior. Pretty easy too-teaches from the book.

It was an alright class, I wish he wouldn't take his notes from the book verbatim. There also seemed to be very small emphasis on any mathematical principles relating to the theory that he taught.

CD is the man. Teaches right from the book, so anything testable is right there for you to study. You probably don't even need to attend class if you understand the text. But if you do plan to go to class, prepare some fun activities to do in your notebook.

So very boring. He seems like a pretty nice guy but just isn't all that interesting and relies too much on the text to teach. Still, I ended up doing well, so he was bearable I guess.
