Everything's on the study guide and during lecture. As long as you show up for class, take notes and study those you'll pass. He goes over exactly what he puts on the test. The books not needed. A great professor, his final exam is long so start the day you get it.

Comment:

I had Professor Diehl in the summer so it was a condensed 2-hour class. He is a good teacher and actually writes stuff on the board so it's easier to take notes, but it was hard for me to listen to a 2-hr lecture which got boring really fast. Really have to take detailed notes because every little thing he mentions would be on the test.

He gives lectures every class, so if you miss, you'll most likely be behind. The study guide didn't really cover what was actually on the test so I would make sure to just take good, detailed notes. If you don't study, you won't pass the exams which are the only grades. Not a tough class, just a heavy load.

Comment:

Love Mr. Diehl! He stays on syllabus and provides interesting interactive lectures, excellent study guides and handouts. Highly enjoyable class, but I rated him 4 for difficulty because 5 fifty-question tests, attendance, and 1 extra credit paper are your only grades - the intensive take-home final took me about 12 hours to complete, but I'm pokey.

He offers ten point of extra credit that is due at the end of the semester. The rest of the class is only the 5 test grades. The last test we did was a take-home test that was much more intensive than the multiple choice. His class is easy to pass because he gives study guides, but his lectures are very boring and I couldn't listen to him.

He lectures every class, don't expect to get out early. He tells a lot of "dad jokes". He gives you a study guide with what will be on the test, take notes of everything he says and read the chapters! Tests are tricky, you really have to study to pass. Overall, nice teacher.

He is extremely funny and is a great teacher. He gives great examples and makes class fun. Not a hard class although its 100% test based because he gives good study guides. Apply yourself and you'll be fine. Dont miss class or you may be confused.I highly reccomend Ronald, it was my favorite class this semester.

I did not even purchase the text book or even use a notebook. He prints out a study guide/outline for each test and I took my notes on there. As long as you go to every class and take notes over everything he says, the tests will be easy. Also, he responds to emails very quickly and always stays on track with syllabus.

Anything mentioned during lecture will be on the exam. The only assignments taken for a grade are the 5 exams you take throughout the semester. Sometimes he'll mention things during lecture but expect you to go to the book and look more into the subject and basically teach yourself. He was a nice guy but I wouldn't suggest him to anyone

Would recommend Mr. Diehl for any psychology class. I had him for 121 & 122. He does keep you the entire class, but that is because there is sooooo much material to cover. As long as you attend all the classes and take excellent notes you will do great! I almost wish I needed more PSY classes so I could take him again.

This professor is excellent in his field. He is easy to talk to and very easy to contact outside of class. Tests were hard, takes listening to lectures and studying notes. He keeps you the entire time slot, not a minute to spare. I would recommend this professor and would take a class with him again.

Very good teacher, does talk alot, but is very knowledgable. I recommend if have never had psychology before. his quizzes are over his lecture notes. I had him for two quarters both psy 121 and 122. the only downfall is he hardly ever lets you out of class early so learn to stay till the very end of class.

Great Prof! Very helpful. Willing to answer any question to make sure you have a good understanding of material. Good sense of humor! Would take other classes taught by him.
