What can I say? What everyone else says is basically true. Easiest class ever simply due to the fact that we did NOTHING. She is very unorganized, and I managed to BS my way through all four papers, getting As and Bs on all of them! Way too much online work though, and way too much busy work, did none of it and finished the class with a B+ ;)

I found this class to be very easy because you can bs your way through it. She's really unorganized but ends up pushing all the dates for papers to later

Grades very harshly!! This class was difficult considering it was a lower level gen ed course. I managed to finish off with a High B, but I had to work VERY hard on the 4 papers. This professor is very unorganized and treats this class for like a research class than a composition class. She's okay, but I would recommend someone else.

This class is like a day at the circus...Nice lady who is fairly disorganized but make sure to go to class or else you will miss some great outfits and outrageous stories...just make sure to eat lunch before class..Too much service learning BS that no one had time for

She is the most unorganized teacher! all of the assignments are on WebCt and the way she has is set up is so confusing. The project takes up way too much time for a freshman level gen. ed. class. I think my grade will be alright, but i would never take her again or recommend her.

I have loved english classes my whole life and I just dreaded going to hers. For a face to face class there is a lot of online work which I didn't like. At least one assignment due every class and a huge research project which the whole class is based on. Dieckman is really nice just not a teacher I would ever take again or advise to ever take.

Where do I begin! First of all I am Rosen student, not an English major. There is too much work involved in that class for a student who has a job, is active with organizations, and has other things to do for other classes. Not very clear in what she wants. Research class, not English! Not very helpful, she reviewed a paper and I still had errors.

Very Vague. Unhelpful and grades extremely hard. Do yourself a favor and take this class from one of the other MANY professors that teach this subject at UCF.

This is not an easy class! The material is not hard, its just that she is a horrible teacher!!! she is very unclear and changes assignments at the last minute. Don't take this class if you expect it to be as easy as other english classes.

Strong writers get strong grades, but don't expect an A as it must be almost publishable quality. Some A minus grades probably should be B/B plus. Class interesting in group discussions, dull when classmates don't read the assignments. Very helpful for in the six-week class.

very helpful, willing to listen and meet beyond regular office hours if necessary, dedicated to improving your writing but does spend much time on papers. service-learning and A papers are demanding, only get out of it what you sincerely put in - not spoon feeding - fakers and slackers need not apply as this class depends on participation & writing
