Great teacher, lectures consist of him telling personal stories from his business career and real world scenarios. Learned much more from him than any other business teacher I've had before. If you show up and pay attention you'll pass.

Take this class and you'll learn valuable information. This guy is no joke, gives excellent lectures that are concise and relevant to the subject matter. Tim Pavlik has a great breadth of knowledge to share. Tests were essay, so get ready to soak it all in.

I've taken one of his online classes, so I cannot give a good representation of how his in class courses are but I enjoyed his online class. He understands that the majority of people taking online courses work for a living so he does not require a lot of extras. Very clear cut and to the point. I'd take his courses again.

I have taken every class that Pavlik teaches on-line and find his classes educational, yet not so overwhelming that I feel like I have to teach the class myself. He has clear instructions, clear guidelines and I personally find the direct approach to learning what you need to know, without all the "extras", a blessing!

Mr pavlik assigns 3 tests, and thats it. As long as you read the book and study, you'll pass the class. He spaces the exams out pretty good so you have enough time to study... but if you can't motivate yourself to do the work, then you're going to fail.

There are two kinds of online professors: those who assign a ton of weekly work, and those who don't make students do a ton of busywork. Prof. Pavlik is the latter - no assignments, only 3 (reasonable) exams. You do have to go to a testing center - study and you'll be fine. Answers questions very fast by email.

Pavlik is a good professor, especially for online students who have day jobs. He invites you to contact him if you need help, but treats students with respect and lets you study at your own pace instead of demanding assignments every week. Read the text and use the study materials. If you don't need your hand held, you'll do well.

As long as you take notes, there's no need for a book. He is very boring to listen to and I had a hard time staying awake. He uses the same references over and over. I think his notes and movies are at least 30 years old. His comb over is horrible.

Took the distance learning course. Prepare to teach yourself. The textbook offered access to their site where you could take quizzes after every chapter -- helped a lot. 3 tests make up your grade...so study! I found Dr. Pavlik to be pretty understanding in that I missed a test deadline and he still counted it. Can't really ask for more than that!

This class is pointless. You only recieve grades for 4 tests. Thats it! All tests are taken at a testing center. You read like 12 chapters and he gives you a test of maybe 16 questions. Where in the heck am I supposed to pull those EXACT bits of info from? He is completely unreseanable. I will never take one of his classes again!

Professor Doctor Pavlik was very sociable and friendly. Go to class and read your book. You do not need to take many notes as Dr. Pavlik sits down all the time and never writes on the board. Class is easy. Little or no work required. Lectures are humorous and interesting.
