Comment:

Very knowledgeable on graphic design but not helpful if it is a subject you struggle with (like me). When I was having trouble with an assignment she made a condescending statement instead of guiding me on how I could improve. This consistent attitude made my experience in the class much harder than it had to be.

Comment:

The best class and professor so far! She knows her stuff, because she's one of the rare Valencia Graphics profs working in the industry. She's demanding, but very clear in what she expects and helpful. Yes, you'll have to work for your grade, but you'll learn ins and outs of the program.

Gradient Mesh was the worst thing to ever do, but it was rewarding. She's a great teacher and very helpful. Not bad to look at either.

I honestly don't know how I passed this class. I didn't do 2 of the projects. I was expecting to fail, but I got a C. This class was a lot of work, but she was very helpful. The only bad thing I have to say is that your have to do a gradient mesh in this class. She is the only professor that requires this project. It's a really hard project.

Her illustrator class is hard and time consuming but she is great, super helpful, professional, experienced. She is one of the best professors of the graphic program. Wish she would've more courses. I would totally take her for any class

I believe this was one of the best college classes I have ever taken. She is an EXCELLENT teacher. I learned so much about Illustrator, its unbelievable. She was totally awesome!! I enjoyed all the projects and learned alot. She is really helpful, and extremely understanding if you have some kind of problem. She even stayed late one night to help me figure some things out! Really great teacher, I wish she taught more classes!!

i did not take damaris for mult 1, but i went to her with all my questions, since MY mult 1 teacher would not answer ANY. i must mention that damaris can answer ANY question you have. she is SO KNOWLEDGABLE of flash, she has MEGA real-world experience.

Damaris is so hot! Also, she teaches graphic design from the heart with real world examples and experience. (Not like the normal bleeding heart liberal teachers we have grown so accustomed to in the campus environment...)
