Pretty good professor overall. You have to be able to keep up with the math homework on my math lab for you to understand everything and not fall behind. If you have questions, he's willing to help you out anytime and very quick to respond if you have him for online classes when you email him.

Professor Chesley is a really good professor! He will help you in any questions you have and is very kind! Although he gives A LOT of homework it helps really well on the test! And it actually helps you understand things from all that practice. I suggest taking him!

very fast paced class, tons of homework on my math lab which is too easy to fall behind on, in addition to my math lab, you have graded assignments, group discussions, quizzes and tests. No index cards on any tests & no forgiveness if you forget anything on a test..do great on everything but your tests..your on your own..no chance for extra credit

Nice guy, hard teacher. He gives a TON of homework on My Math Lab, which is easy to fall behind on and you have to know how to get answers by hand on the tests or you'll suffer for it. He's not the best at explaining things if you have a question and he sets a fast pace. If you can handle all that, you should be fine.

He's a nice guy, has a dry sense of humor. He does not always answer questions that are asked. Homework on my math lab can be overwhelming. The practice tests and what he says to practice is very close to his tests.

This teacher goes over everything exactly once barely, his handwriting is extremely hard to read, and his lessons move at a grueling pace. He mocks students for asking dumb questions. He grades quizes harshly. He is however very prompt about answering e-mails and he's extremely knowledgeable on the material (if only he was able to teach it better).

Moves way to FAST. Typical mathematician who has no concept of the fact that not everyone picks up math like "that." He isn't mean or anything, but when you asked him to slow down he would just go through the previous thing again, but at twice the speed as the first time... not very helpful.

I took Prof. C's online course and really learned a lot. The course is a lot of work but it is very structured and organized. If you aren't good in math, I guarantee you will still do well in his class if you do the assignments. He's very helpful and quick to respond. No complaints here.

I hated him, he always called on me and he likes to embarrass students apparently especially the ones who aren't any good at math. i don't know what his problem is but he was intimidating and I never wanted to ask questions. I had to drop the class because I was so lost, he went so fast. I wouldn't recommend him especially if you suck at math.
