Teaching math in the classroom - I have no idea how to even after taking this class. Don't buy the textbook - u never use it. She's a great teacher but always changes assignment dates. I had everything done on time and she changed the dates b/c there were slackers in the class -not fair to those who worked hard to complete on time.would take again

Very boring and didn't feel like I learned a lot from her class. Assignments were easy and she spent too much class time just talking about random things and reading to us from children's books. She is a sweet lady though, and she is always willing to help students.

Dr. Flach is a nice person with lots of ideas for manipulatives, etc. for hands on teaching BUT you do NOT learn how to teach math and science in a classroom setting using curriculum, etc. Make sure you ask a million questions of each assignment, she changes rubrics, dates and so on. She is a good person, will help if you don't give her an attitude

Dr. Flach is awesome! She is a very nice lady and most of the class was spent doing hands-on activities. She takes a long time to return projects and papers, and we weren't sure what to expect on tests. She is very picky when it comes to grading papers. Lots of activities - and many of them were crammed into the end of the semester. GOOD LUCK!

I am not overly impressed with her as a professor. She is unorganized and will give you huge projects at the last minute and expect them done. And if you keep track of your grades good luck because she never returns anything to you until the last minute.
