I was scared to take biometry because I've heard it was a really hard class. But my advice to anyone serious about biology as a whole, especially research, should take this class. I wish I took it junior year so I can better understand papers and research design. Can be used in all areas really. He makes the subject easy to learn and passable.

This was the first time the class was being taught. I personally really like Dr. Crocker as a teacher and want to pursue this subject as a career. That being said, get the book. Lectures are on the test but not having the book really hindered my grade. Multiple choice is always hard for me but short answers are a piece of cake. Best teacher!

Dr Crocker is a really good teacher for people who enjoy animals and behavioral side of biology. He helped a lot with my questions and inspired me to do more research into what I want to do regarding my career. He's willing to help but I also feel like he is really busy so theres a trade off there. Really good teacher though, learned a lot.

The course material consisted of mastering concepts rather than rote memorization. Dr. Crocker kept easy engagement of student attention with his down to earth personality and interesting (and often humorous) anecdotes. Not an easy course, but it's definitely possible to succeed if you put in the effort.

Best biology teacher at Sonoma State hands down! Super sharp guy that is teaches just the right amount of info on each topic and always has good stories and research to back up the topics the class covers. Would highly recommend!

One of the best Biol Teachers you could ask for. Makes learning about physiology fun and intresting. Plus, he relates hard topics in an easy to understand way. Don't be put off when you go to ask him questions if he seems busy, thats honestly his personality. Overall, great teacher and great guy.
