There's a reason this guy is the department chair. Fantastic lecturer - engaging and engrossing. He'd show the theory behind the principles and technique needed for the problems. Every lecture is so precise, it seemed like it was rehearsed. Clearly cares about his students and their understanding of the material. Great course setup, too

Dr. Rader wants you to dig deeper than what is just on the surface. He'll present you with things you've never seen before and expect you to apply the things you know to solve those things. He is the department head so his office hours are limited, but when you can catch him he is very helpful and very understanding.

This prof is the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. He is rude and does not welcome questions in class. Has terrible office hours and his tests and quizzes show little correlation to the material we have covered in class.

Awesome prof. He's very dedicated to his job. When he isn't able to make it to class, he makes video lectures and posts them online. It makes understanding the material easy. If you can stay awake in class, you will have few problems with this prof.

Rader is pretty cool. He's easy to talk to and joke around with. Both him and his wife are stat profs, and you can tell that he really gets into his job and he wants you to also understand. His exams are very closely related to the assigned homework. He's easy to get a hold of in the office, but he also responds to emails really quickly. :)

Dr. Rader has a very dry sense of humor. He's not the most interesting professor but you can tell that he loves Calculus and he will make sure that you learn it. He gives daily practice problems that are difficult but make the tests easy if you understand the material. Dr. Rader has awesome office hours and is always willing to help!

He has an odd sense of humor, but it makes the class more enjoyable. The class itself is hard, but he explains things during lecture very well. He's understandable when you're sick, and when everyone fails a test, he allows you to make corrections overnight with other students and notes. Great prof and would take again if I had to take

Dr.Rader has a graceful teaching manner, a perfect clarity and some sense of humor. He and Dr.Anderson from CS department teach this course on rotation every other year and, apparently, Rader is less demanding than Anderson, who will focus more on data structure and coding, which won't be covered by Dr.Rader. Take him if you want a bit easier life.

Dr. Rader's sense of humor probably doesn't work well with everyone, but to me that made the class oh so much funnier. I won't kid anyone, his lectures are boring, but he does a great job at explaining the topics. I only ever needed help on the homework, which he wrote mostly himself. Office help is meh; I think he's afraid of giving too much away.

Sweet dude, definitely a professor you want to get. His clarity is unbelievable. This dude is a complete baller too...just talk to him about some hoops and play some intramurals with the dude and you're good to go. His tests are pretty tough though, but they prepare you very well for the final.
