Comment:

I can say she is a good teacher but gives a lot of assignment and terms to memorize. For exam, you need to memorize amount of details of art works. I thought i've learned a lot but It was really hard for me to do assignment and exam.

Deb is a real gem. Although her lectures aren't the most exciting, she covers a broad range of art history and is obviously passionate about teaching it. If you do bad on the midterm, she'll dismiss the grade if you do well on the final.

Amazing teacher her class was the most rewarding on my 1st yr . Art history is a hard topic but she makes it exciting and interesting. It may be a bit be challenging, but you will love it because she makes you passionate about history. You'll gain deep knowledge of art. I took so much out of her class!

Dr. Goldberg is very knowledgeable on giving you a very broad foundation in Modern Art History. You will discuss many, many works from many different artists and many different movements. You will have tons of paintings and artists in your mind to pull inspirations from, if you just put the time into the class and learn. Would take again. MNRVAM

DrGoldberg does amazing job at teaching art history. She is kind and really cares about her students' learning. The knowledge you learn in this class will be invaluable for your whole life. She goes out of her way to help you if you ask for help. ArtHist knowledge is imperative to become a great artist, and DrGoldberg is the one you should take.

I loved this class! I took this class my first semester and I have been very interested in art history ever since! Deborah is a fantastic teacher and truly knows her materials. After taking her class I have been strongly considering minoring in art history! Truly fascinating.

She's a sweet woman. All these people are complaining because art history just doesn't interest them. She is a very good teacher and very nice and knowledgable. She is very passionate about the subject and I found myself really enjoying the class.

She is a good teacher with a good heart. She certainly knows everything she's talking about. She is kind, and encouraging. It's just that no matter what teacher you have, art history is always gonna be hard and boring subject. It's not her fault. I never thought I would actually say this but I learned a lot and art makes more sense now.

Very nice but very boring. I will admit I became somewhat interested in art history but she acts like our worlds should revolve around it. Beware of her midterm, final, and final project. So so so much work that you really don't have time for. You do actually learn but it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a different teacher.

A lot of useless stuff to memorize and she will never give u a single guide so u need to be ready for**** lot of things to memorize. ex) about 30pg per 2~3 weeks. In addition if your are the international student, better find other teacher for history
