she is a really nice person. she knows what shes talking about, but her crits of hw are a little unstructured. she has really helpful advice, and she doesn't make you feel bad about your work. if your not the best painter out there, shes defiantly the best.

Judy' good depending on what class of hers you take. She's intelligent, good at thinking and wonderful to talk to. Awesome painter. I had her for foundation drawing, I learned how to draw better from the class but crits were a bit weak.

By far the worst teacher I've had in my life. She does not even have a basic understanding of drawing techniques, let alone art. She doesn't criticize anything anyone does, and teaches nothing. Complete waste of time, but I had no choice. Get out if you can. My middle school art teacher was more intelligent than her.

If you're not much of a painter, Judy is a nice teacher to have. She won't cut you down, but I can see how this may not benefit serious painters. She does give pointers but it helps to ask her opinion if you're not sure or in a bind, and then she'll definitely give feedback. Very nice.
