Comment:

She simply reads off powerpoints talking real fast, quiet, and in a monotone voice. Powerslides have so much material on them and she just teaches in a horrible way. She doesn't make study guides nor tells you what chapters or sections in the book she makes mandatory. The exams never had anything from book yet she tells you read to study.

Comment:

She was nice and always responded to emails. She read off PowerPoints for class in a monotone voice, so no need to attend every class unless she is solving a math problem. Don't buy the books; just read her slides. Material is easy to understand, but tests were harder than covered material. The essay you have to write is easy. Boring class.

Very nice! She's a bit monotone and quiet. But she is very helpful and accepts late homework if you ask. If you sit in the back, you won't pay attention. Sit in the front and it's an easy class.

This is a huge lecture class taught in sections by four different professors. DeMaris is BY FAR the best of the professors she explains everything clearly and is the only one who does not seem to talk in circles (making notes easier). Take notes and pay attention to the examples they give you and its an easy class.

Class was team taught, but she was my section teacher, thankfully. She is super nice and explains concepts very well, especially when not explained by the other teachers. Read the material and do PsykTreks they help with studying. It's a pretty average course but tests can be hard-really know the material. She is willing to help.

Dr. Montgomery is very monotoned and can get very boring really quickly. She's good at explaining concepts, and the material isn't too difficult. You definitely need to study for the exams. They are more difficult than you think.

Although all homework is extra credit, the most points for one homework assignment is one point. Basically does almost nothing to your grade and when going in for office hours her shy demeanor definitely gets in the way. She's okay but I would personally never take her again. Her teaching style is just not for me

This class was not that hard. She gave us lots of extra credit and no homework was mandatory. She didn't care whether or not you came to class and she posted the powerpoints online. She only taught us what we would need to know for tests and gave lots of examples. we did a lot of practice problems in class. the material was not that hard either.

i hated this class, and her teaching style didn't help me whatsover. she is very timid, which lead people to think shes "easy" but she isnt. her shy-demeanor gets in the way of her explaining concepts, and her projects end up being more work than they should be!! the tests werent bad but the projects will kill you. hope you know apa format for this

I don't know what it is with the Mongomery's but may i suggest other teachers besides either one of them. She always seems annoyed when i ask her to explain something as if I am wasting her time and her energy and she is accommodating at all to others learning styles. she is straight forward i will give her that but i would never take her again!

The class was straightforward. Her tests were moderately hard, but very manageable if you study. Book only used for homework problems, which are all for extra credit. I recommend doing them, but you could get by without the book. She is a quiet talker, but goes slow and repeats herself when asked. Good instructor.

This professor was so useless to me that I had to go to my advisor for help - I ended up completely learning the subject from a professor who wasn't teaching the class. If you aren't interested in her field you may as well not exist. The people who like her are more hung up on her looks than her quality as a professor.

She's so cute!!! She really cares, and always waits for the class response before moving on in a problem. She takes pride in her job, and sets a great example for her students! She is also my academic advisor and has given me so much great advice...she knows what she's talking about!
