Professor Kohl was an amazing professor. She is so kind - hearted and truly cares about her students. She is quite witty and funny, but be prepared, she loves to discuss. Her stories are just as charming as she is. 100% would take again. Amazing, my favorite professor ever.

Comment:

She is a wonderful teacher if you actually pay attention in class and is very sweet. She is very strict on bathroom policies. Overall, she knows what she is talking about when she is teaching and gives extra credit to boost grades. She likes essays that go into depth, are descriptive and includes life experiences. And listen carefully in class!

She makes you read a lot. Gives a few in class writing assignments & very little writing h.w. She gives a quiz at the end of every class. She can sound a bit boring but when you really listen to her she is quite inspiring. She is a deep thinker. She'll mention things like the meaning of life and purpose. If you don't mind that you'll enjoy it.

I loved being in her class. She doesnt assign to many papers and offers plenty of extra credit options to drop any lowest quiz grade. All quizzes are based on material she assigned for homework, she also goes over it before the quiz. I really recommend her!

I loved being in professor Kohl's English Comp class. She is energetic, quirky, and really gets the students to engage with each other. There's plenty of reading, which she gives a small quiz each class, but she offers plenty of extra credit options. This class is an easy A.

I really enjoyed the class. She knows her literature. She had us read very interesting things that I wouldn't have thought to read on my own. There is a quiz most every week on the assigned reading. The quizzes are geared to see if you read more than the content. There were many opportunities to make up for poor quiz grades. She is very passionate.

The only reason anyone would say this class is hard or boring is because they didnt stay updated in what was going on in class. There is a quiz every week, but as long as you did the assigned reading you will be fine. She is very passionate about her teaching and if you dont show any care for learning you will not do good.Not her fault, just yours.

The class doe not have much essays and mainly consist of reading lots for homework and being quizzed on them, I got 50's on most of the quizzes but I managed to pull up to a B from the essays. What's great with Prof. Khol is she gives you a chance to improve, Some of my early essays were bad but I was given a chance to redo them.

Very nice woman. She needs to engage the claas more, find a way to make the class more interesting. Question of the day is fun, but being quizzed about what someone in the class answere to the question is not. She loves literiture but dosen't get her feeling across to class.

Class was made boring by constant opinions on sci-fi movies. She believes all real entertainment is dead, and will argue with you about it, although it has absolutely nothing to do with English. Theres 5 4 page mandatory papers, which are pretty annoying. Run while you can. Never AGAIN!

Obsessed with Ralph Emerson. She insulted the class varies times about our level of reading. Quizes on readings have detailed questions based on info that readers tend not to remember like specific dates and places. She's tough but gives you the chance to do better...extra credit assignments!

This class was an entire waste of my time. She is the hardest woman to follow when she speaks, goes off and tangents and rarely makes sense. If your a sci-fi nerd she will love you she'll spend the whole class talking about star wars. Don't even try to contact her she wont return you calls and doesn't know what a computer is. Technology inept.

kinda creeped me out first day talking about really weird things, i was absent for the first four weeks of this class and i came back and she let me in so shes cool when it comes to attendence, lot of writing in this class as far as class discussion for the most part it was dry and kinda off topic. kind of a snoozer for one who sleeps in class
