One of the best professors. The whole class is pure lecture. Very entertaining! Sometimes makes jokes that noone gets, but laughs anyways. He is very genuine, and caring. He gives you everything you need to pass his class with an A. I took his 6 week class.

Great Professor! I took this course over the summer during a very short term. The work was not too much, but we did have to write a paper. There were not many tests and no homework except for the paper. We never were released early but the class was interesting and didn't seem too long. Take this Professor if you can.

Professor Broxton is an AMAZING proffessor! I had him for AMH to 1877 and from 1877. He truly has a passion for History and loves telling his stories. Don't bother buying the book, its not needed. He is strictly lecture and has 4 unit tests and 1 written paper. Take good notes. Tests are multiple choice and very easy! Wonderful teacher!

Prof Broxton is a history BUFF and loves teaching about american as well as local history. Does this weird thing with his tongue during lectures, but you have to look past that. He will tell you everything you need to know for tests in class. Book is useless; we didnt open it once! One paper due in class. Almost everyone received a 99. Easy A-B!

Professor Broxton made the history a little more interesting for me. I'm not a big history fan, but his little interesting tidbits here and there helped. Come to class, take good notes and study them and you will do fine. And start on your research paper early. In some cases he will even give it back to you and let you fix it.

Professor Broxton was my first college professor; I took his class as dual enrollment. He really will help you out when you need it, and his tests are easy as long as you pay attention and take notes. He doesn't use the book at all. I overall enjoyed his class and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. :)

I hated history before this class but I look forward to the next one! If you want to laugh the entire class about the Presidents- he has the dirt on all of them. He is a hoot and a sweet heart of a teacher. If you ask him a question he will take the time to answer you and help you within reason. The stories of history come alive with Broxton-Enjoy!

Professor Broxton is one of those teachers that have a passion for their subject, as well as a passion for his students. He takes the time to help students that ask for it within reason. He also has tremendous knowledge of local history which makes things a lot easier for his students to relate to. I would strongly recommend Professor Broxton.

I love Mr. Broxton. Although he is kind of repetitive with his stories, and he gives a lot of background on certain subjects, he is a delightful teacher. His classes are easy but you might not want to take the 3 1/2 night courses unless you have a recorder because your hand might hurt by the end. Buy a book if you plan on missing classes.

TIPS: 1) Do not take notes! He will give you a printed hand-out with very little information, yet this is all you need! 2) You will overstudy for the first test, guaranteed. 3) Do not get the book. 4) He doesn't care if you leave after the first break. 5) The essay portion of the tests is a joke; DO NOT STUDY FOR THE ESSAYS! Hope this helps! Easy A
