Comment:

Professor Martin is a caring and nice person but as a teacher shes kind of all over the place. She gives out pop quizzes like crazy but drops the lowest grade. She does her best to give everyone an opportunity to get a good grade. At times her class could get boring. Overall I liked her as a person but as a teacher she was average.

This was her first semester doing an online course, honestly it was the best idea ever! All her quizzes came straight from the textbook and the discussions were not that difficult. You learn a lot from this online course. If you get a chance to take it online Id say go for it!

Diane Martin can be challenging because she is all lecture, she does not spoon feed you the info. If you put in your time and effort and dont skip class she gives you a lot of chances. She will do everything in her power to have you pass her class. Shes a knowledgeable women and very caring, thank you Prof. Martin for guiding me.

Professor gave a big assignment at the beginning of the semester, never brought it up again until the last two weeks telling us we had all semester and should have done it sooner. Missed two weeks due to snow days, when we came back - she basically had us teaching ourselves what we missed (and needed to catch up on.

Proffessor Martin can be a nice person but loves to through subs to students.A tough grader and expects you to know somethings you have never done. I dont think i'll take a class with her again unless i really have to. She should work on her attitude because everytime, I asked a question, she would have an attitude and look at me pitifully.

She's really nice but she should not teach. Her tests are based completely on the textbook with maybe 10% of her lecture included. Even take-home tests are hard. She's not a bad person, she just expects everyone to have a photographic memory of the textbook. Expect to read and take notes on the chapter and still struggle with the mc questions.

Professor Martin is extremely smart, and well, at first is very intimating but once you get used to her classes it becomes easier. Like in the other posts make sure you have the textbook, i didnt even listen to her lectures and just studied form the book because all of her questions are from there. Also there is a paper and presentation

She talks so fast it's impossible to write and listen at the same time. She gives a final project which is for a group and doesn't give a date for when to present them then will proceed to tell you it's too late. She will literally give every group only one class day to present with such short notice. Avoid this class if you can

For her class you seriously NEED the textbook. All her lessons and tests are based on the textbook and usually they are not easy. She does not explain her syllabus very well making it easy to interpret it "wrong". She does give extra credit though which might save a grade.

Prof. Martin is very nice. She does not give any homework. All test are from textbook. So make sure to study text book before a test. If you are not doing well on test, she gives plenty of opportunities to get extra credit to bring up your final grade. You will learn a lot. She is a Great teacher and very smart.

Ms.Martin is extremely smart she definitively knows her stuff. She's really informative and will help you if you come to her. However, her tests are EXTREMELY hard they're straight off the textbook word for word. She does give a lot of chances for extra credit. If you want to learn take this class.
