SO MUCH HOMEWORK! You spend like 2 hours daily JUST WITH HOMEWORK! Quizzes every two weeks 5 questions, field work, and final. She explains terribly in class; however gives extra credit and is available in office hours.

She's the only teacher for this class, so good luck. She's a sweet lady, but a tough grader who assigns way too much homework. The way to get through is to study as a group (group chat, google doc) and go to office hours/ ask for help! She gives a TON of extra credit as well.

Amazing professor. Definitely makes you work for the grade, if you're willing to put in the work, you'll do fine. If you get confused on something or need a little extra help GO TO OFFICE HOURS. She is amazing during office hours, re-explains topics, teaches you easier ways to do thing, etc. Also, she has GREAT connections. Would recommend.

This is a difficult class, however if you take the time out to see her she will do her best to help. Also I don't think she wants to fail someone who tries there best.

This was probably the most time consuming class I have ever taken. She assigns work as if it's the only class you're taking, and if it was, it wouldn't be so bad. But given that I was taking 6 classes this semester, including hers, I had no time AT ALL to do the homework for my other classes because I had so much to do for her class.

she is rambling and unclear in her expectations. unfortunately she is the only professor for mandatory math classes. if given the choice between her and another professor, pick whoever the other is.

Dr. Schiller is one of the sweetest professors you will ever have IF you work hard. Go to class, complete all the homework (and really trying on it), study for quizzes, and go into her office hours. GO INTO HER OFFICE HOURS FOR EVERYTHING! She'll love you :) Trust me, it's not impossible to get an A if you show her you really want one.

Dr. Schiller is very sweet and understanding. There is a lot of homework, often unclear, and you must study a lot to do well. If you do poorly on a quiz, talk to her and she gives you back points. Almost no homework the last half of the semester (first half is brutal). She knows a lot and is honestly a super human with all the things she does.

Comment:
Dr. Schiller is the most difficult teacher in the education program. Her instructions are often unclear, yet she is very strict in grading. She is not consistent across her sections and does not give everyone the same information. Be prepared to spend the majority of your time trying to figure out what exactly she wants you to do.

This is the hardest class I have ever taken. The bottom line is this though... If you can't handle this class, you're not cut out to be a teacher... Bottom line. Do all of the extra credit and use her office hours as much as you can. She is very unorganized but if you put the time in, you'll make it.

Dr. Schiller is great. The class is a lot of work, but not unmanageable if you manage your time well. Dr. Schiller may seem intimidating, but if you ask her a question or use her office hours, she is a wonderful resource.

This is a mandatory class for education majors. She gives you lots of work and she's unclear on a lot of things during class. However, if you make the time and effort to talk to her during office hours, she is glad to help you. Plus, you will get to hear interesting stories. I know the work load may be ridiculous, but an A in this class IS possible

I worked my booty off in this class and barely passed. Im a student who does not slack off and studies. Assignments take around 2 hours a night and they're worth 1 point. She did offer extra credit but it would take 5 hours to complete the 1 point extra credit. If u have a LOT of time on ur hands, then u'll fine.

This class is a lot of work!! But if you do all the homework, this class is an easy A, but you have to do the work. She offers a lot of extra credit. A lot of people drop this class because it's so much work and they can't keep up. All in all, easy class if you do the work!

Laziness will result in a C or lower. Do your homework, take notes, ask questions (visit her in her office, too!), and be genuine. She'll see your determination and help you out. P.S. Take every extra credit opportunity you can get, and study like crazy for her quizzes!

This class is difficult, and she packs alot of information into each lecture, but I feel that it was a class where i did learn things I KNOW I will use again, unlike some other ED classes. I love Dr. Schiller, she really loves what she does and If you apply yourself her class is a great experience.

She is disorganized, not helpful, and she only cares about advertising her own books and work. She doesnt care if you pass or fail. She gets hyped up in copy+pasting and everything is just confusing. It's ridiculous.

Yes, the class was a lot of work however the work allowed me to grasp a more in depth engagement in mathematics and delve into a deeper understanding of the student's mind. It all had meaning, even when I didn't think it did at the time. She also definitely has the hottest shoes of anyone at Loyola. Stop Hating.

AREALREVIEW! A great person and truly loves what she does, but since she's got a lot going on, she doesn't have time to baby you. Take notes in class even on the first day, ask questions, and work with classmates. Extra credit is also provided to those who aren't doing well. A lot of printing and busy work, but can get through it if you try HARD.
