Comment:

The teacher is smart and nice, but makes the tests hard. He tries to confuse you with the answers that he has to pick from. He never e-mails students back when they e-mail him with questions. I didn't like that coming to class didn't really count for much. Grade based on a group project;unfair. Overall, I would not take this teacher again.

I had Dr. Davis for Courtship and Marriage. Go to class, don't buy the book. Print out the study guide and only take notes for what's on the guide. TESTS/QUIZZES COME FROM NOTES. On journals, spill your guts, give details, and write a lot. Had a lot going on this semester-slow to return grades and emails. Very sweet guy. ;)

He is a really nice teacher, and gives out bonus points sometimes for coming to class. Going to class WILL boost your GPA. His test are a little difficult, but study vocab and main concepts and you should be fine.

This is an extremely boring class. Every class is purely lectures for the powerpoint. and the tests are from the book so the lectures are completely pointless. If u want to be successful in this class be sure to read every chapter and study from the book!

Mr. Davis is a great guy; his class is very hard though. You must read the book; his lectures are to help you understand the readings. He gives out extra credit through out the course that equals a letter grade. Again great guy; but OH MY GOD this is college so you have to read.

Mr Davis has too much going on right now to be a teacher. His lectures and his notes don't match up and he don't take the time to clearly outline his assignments. The opportunity to get an A in this class is possible. You have to continue to ask for clarity on each assignment for yourself and to keep him in the loop.

MR DAVIS IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER. HE MAKES THE CLASS FUN. HE MAKES YOU INTERACT WITH THE CLASS LECTURES. TALKS ABOUT LIFE AND SEX WERE INTERESTING. THE NOTES HE GIVES ARE DIRECT AND CLEAR. THE 2 TESTS ARE MOSTLY VOCABULARY. THERE ARE 2 REPORTS AND A TEAM PROJECT. DON HAS A GREAT DOWN TO EARTH PERSONALITY. TAKE THE CLASS. YOU WILL GET FUN AND AN "A".

Maybe the class is of fun content, but I love his class. If you do the studies and actually read you will breeze through his class. There is a team project so take this class with a couple of friends. You'd be amazed at how much you can learn about yourself in Courtship and Marriage.

Awesome teacher! Tries to relate to you and help you in any way he can! Very clear and fun classes. Attendance is optional but GO cause he gives extra credit for going and that helps your grade a lot. Test are tricky, but EASY if you STUDY! TAKE HIM, you wont regret it! You will learn a lot and leave the class feeling like you learned a lot!

This was an okay class. Davis is a nice guy, but his lectures will not help you on the test. In order to study for his test/ quizzes you have to read the book. He gives extra credit points on some days if you go to class. There is also a group presentation and he grades hard!
