A very challenging class. You have to read alllllll the material in the textbook in order for you to pass his tests and study everything from the powerpoints. There are four tests and a final. He does offer extra credit opportunities, He's a good guy but he gives a hard class.

Don is a nice guy in person, but can be pretty rude in emails. His tests are VERY hard. If you are not interested in science, AVOID this class. It is not an easy class and is very boring if you are not interested. He has extra credit videos to go to, but they don't help with your grade very much. He is a weird guy and not a good professor.

Don Adams is a very nice guy but his class is very hard! The tests are very hard to pass! Like the other comments said, you need to basically memorize everything in order to pass his tests. If you have no interest in environmental science do not take this class.

I understand all the hate, and I got a B- in his class, but I still think he's a great old guy, and he's HILARIOUS. No homework, sign the mandatory attendance sheet, and STUDY THE TEXTBOOK CHAPTERS FOR THE TESTS! The tests are 100% out of the textbook chapters. It's a shame his tests are so damn hard, cause he's one of my favorite professors.

Lectures are completely pointless, the class average for tests throughout my whole section was never higher than a 70. study guides are about 20 pages long which makes studying impossible and you never get the test back or go over it so you have no idea what questions you got right and wrong.

In class the information he teaches seems basic and understandable but have nothing to do with what is on the exams. The questions on tests are picky and veryyyy detailed. Nice guy, but the only thing graded is the tests..so if you fail those you're pretty much screwed.
