I had Professor Stevens for a course called, "Japan" back in Fall 2007. It was a semester-length study of Japan, and was effectively taught. Stevens also reviewed my outlined essay before the test. A knowledgable, helpful professor who made you, "UNDERSTAND THAT DYNAMIC!!!" (pound on the board!). Hope he's still teaching!!

Probably the best history teacher I've ever had! His tests were ALL essay, but he gave the topics well enough in advance that you could pick and choose three or four to have prepared for the in class exams. Only two papers that were very easy and interesting to write! I would definately reccommend him to others!

Knows almost everything about WWII. Definitly take that class. Knows all of his subject matter well. Grades easy on papers, a bit harder on tests but all his tests are the same and are easy to get used to. You just have to "understand the dynamic..."

Beyond compare the most knowledgable prof at King's. An excellent, extremely competant instructor who has the ability to make what some consider a boring subject come to life. All the classes he teaches are ones you do not want to miss. His expertise and presentation made me hate to miss his class.

He is really smart. Knows everything about history and is so interested in the topic. Had to attend class to understand the notes. Grades the two papers pretty easily. The class wasn't so bad, but I got sick of attending the class.

His class was a lot of work, but I learned a lot! His tests are essays...he usually gives the questions ahead of time. Don't try to study them all...know 3-4 really well and you will get good grades...he likes to have a lot of details.
