Dora has a very subtle humor. Get on her good side and she'll give you an A just b/c she likes you. Very easy class, just listen and be nice and you'll be fine. However, she got really sick this semester, so it's definite as to whether she'll be coming back. If she does, def take her! Very random lesson plans, but a good class.

I took Dora for Hebrew 1 and 2. She's really sweet and wants you to do well. She grades on improvement, effort, and participation. She moves around kind of irregularly, but it's a really easy class. She got really sick this semester, so we don't know if she's coming back. I hope so, b/c i want to take Hebrew 3 with her in the fall.

Dora is a very nice lady and she tries so hard. The students do not give her the respect that they should and the class gets a bit noisy. I would not be graduating if it weren't for her, because I needed a foreign language and she grades on your improvement, attendance and participation.

She does not grade on actual grades or effort. Only grades on wether or not she likes you. I think she just assigns grades according to her own personal opinion. By #'s I should have gotten an A, by effort I should have gotten an A, but she didn't like me, so I got a B. Completely unprofessional.

Dora is a nice lady. She did not do a good job at teaching the true beginners, went from alphabet straight to trying to read. If you go to class and try, you will get a good grade. If you want to learn Hebrew, you will need to work hard on your own and teach yourself. She does have favorites. B-

Not very clear or willing to explain things. Low patience level. If you are good at studying and learning on your own, you'll learn a lot; other than that you won't learn a ton of Hebrew in her classes. She has her favorites and it is obvious. She's nice, just not good at teaching/explaining lang.

This class is interesting only if your interested in learning hebrew. I had backround in the language which helped ALOT! She is not the greatest teacher but everyone does well as long as you participate. You dont even need to be correct, just make an attempt and you'll be fine.

Dora is a great lady. The class is an easy four credits, but I'll just say that I know more than I did when I went in. She grades her students on their improvement. Definately take her class is you need a foreign language, not if you want to learn hebrew.

if u kno hebrew u don't need to come to class. infact, she told me NOT to come. just do the midterm (TAKEHOME FOR A WEEK!) and write a final paper. if u gotta take a languag, take this. easy. she sux as a teacher, but the class is a BREEEEEZZEEEEEEEEEEE!!

if you know nothing, you'll learn how to read and write in this class. speaking wise, you wont learn much, bc the class is so big. you don't really need to do hw or take the tests seriously. if you go to class, you'll get a good grade.
