I took his class a few years ago and I still remember how horrible he was. When the semester started his class was full by the tiem I left it was less than half full...not good! He was rude and I felt like he picked on certain stupids. Don't recommend him!

If you are looking to challenge your writing skills and abilities this is the class for you. Prof. Bettencourt equips students with the writing skills necessary/required for higher education. DON'T EVEN DARE TO DO SUCH S HORRIABLE THING OF UR LIFE. he is hella hard and a lot of reading to do and uninteresting essay topic he's moody and really picked on me last semester. Many dislike him because he is difficult but only because he is trying to prepare you for what comes next..even harder english classes..
