Worst class I have ever taken! He is pompous and rude. He procrastinates and has no basis for grading. This is not because of a bad grade, actually I am passing his class with an -A. I wouldn't recommend that anyone take his class if you can avoid it

Dr. Perez would be excellent if he didn't constantly throw in his horrendously leftist views. I don't mind professors sharing their beliefs and opinions but Perez takes it to the extreme. Excellent teacher who knows the stuff he teaches but overall I found him to be incredibly obnoxious, pompous, and I'd never take another class with him.

I don't get all the hate. Probably my favorite professor at PSUC. Loud and profane, yes, informative and gets his points across; absolutely. Challenges you to pay attention, take good notes, and study for the tests(3). He obviously leans to the left, but does not skew the tests. One of the most effective and enjoyable lecturers I've ever had.

He is a well-educated man who knows his stuff. That is, when he is on the topic of policing. He stands condescendingly tall in his far-left pulpit. The test are somewhat tricky, but nothing too difficult. No attendance policy, but I would recommend going to class. It's interesting and very informative.

Get over his political opinion, and take the class for what it is. he is very knowledgeable about the topic and very loud and clear when he speaks. take notes and you will pass, no need for the books, go to class and pay attention.

Dr. Perez is comepletely refreshing with loud opinions and excessive use of the f bomb. I absolutely recommend him. You have to go to class to do well on the tests!! Take good notes. He never used the book at all the whole class. Big 15 pg paper for the class but it was worth it!! Awesome professor!!

Policing w/ this guy is impossible. Tests are ridiculously confusing and hard. No other opportunities for a higher grade-swears a lot and screams and yells for no reason. If you're not good at taking multiple choice questions, dont bother taking his class. theres only 3 multiple choice tests.. the final is accumalitive.. and theres NO essays or extra credit. He can be annoying and think hes cool when he curses, but he got on my damn nerves :)
