Eliane is a great teacher. Her accent is not really a problem, though sometimes you may need to ask her to clarify. She is good as a theory teacher and fantastic as a composition teacher. You can learn a lot from her.

Eliane is the absolute best teacher. I have learned a ton of composition and theory from her. URI is lucky to have her. She is also super nice, accessible and willing to help. Definitely take her classes!!!

All I can say is "Numba A" yeah...she doesn't make sense.. EVER! but she is really really really nice, and will be willing to spend tons of time with you. You may have to teach yourself the book, but she is still a nice teacher!

I have had Dr. Aberdam for numerous classes, including theory 2 and 3 and form and analysis. She is extremely intelligent, and is very eager to help those who do not understand. A great person and teacher. Very caring of her students.

very nice, but not a good teacher at all. if you can, avoid taking her as a teacher at all costs. you will probably get a good grade, but you will be frustrated and learn NOTHING!
