Comment:

Emily Stern is one of my favorite professors at College of New Rochelle. Camparing to other comments, her teaching seems to have changed. She is very involved with class critique, values expression. She always wants to know how you created a piece and is very heylpful to make improvements. Shes amazing!

Comment:

Although I never had her for INS, I did have her multiple times for art courses. She can be pushy, relentless and close-minded. She also plays favorites. Shes interested in what she does, but shes very opinionated and does not leave much room for self-expression (which is BAD because she teaches ART). Also, she expects you to read her mind.

When I first met Emily, I thought she was a little out there and she reminded me of Maya Rudolph as Meghan on SNL's Wake up Wakefield. However, she's come to be one of my favorite profs at CNR. She's honest, nice, and helpful... very skilled.
