He's nice and the class wasn't difficult. Most of the things we learned though he just showed youtube tutorials for. Because of this and not caring about if we're in class, I noticed myself missing it a lot because I wanted to sleep and could just look up the yt video later. Nice class though.

Berkowitz is a pretty cool teacher. His tests, quizes, and projects can be tough, but he works with you. If you pay attention and take lots of notes you should be fine. He always trys to mix humor into his lessons to brighten things up.

Lecture often consists of him writing java code and students racing to copy his code off the overhead before he scrolled down. However, if you ask questions, he is always willing to retrace his steps. If you're not familiar with java, databases, or web programming, you may get a little lost at times. I felt unprepared and rushed for final project.

Good, gave fast, detailed lectures that I sometimes found hard to follow. Doesn't accept late work. Gives you good idea what will be on tests, but a little unclear as to what we need to know for project. Didn't give us much time to do final project. Overall, helpful and knowledgeable.
