There are no clear grading criteria for this class. Professor Rivero doesn't follow the criteria she has set and it is extremely frustrating. She only gives you one opportunity to see your grade in the middle of the semester and the final grade is completely different with no evidence of this. 10/10 would not take again.

This class should be an online class. Prof. Rivero doesn't teach. Her lectures are all power point slides or videos that she came across. She assigns a lot of APA format papers and she expects you to work in groups for most of your assignments. She is really nice and keeps you up to date with how you're doing in class. Should be an online class.

Rivero is pleasant and helpful. She however does loves to assign group work. what i don't like is that she is very disorganized and don't remember about how much Homework shes given. I got an A by showing up and ofcourse Studying her material. You will learn from that boring book too. Overall VERY EASY class.

This professor relies GREATLY on group work. I was stuck with a group that never got together and never had time to do work. To get an A you have to do it yourself and give others credit cuz she wont give you a grade alone. She gives big research paper(GROUP) GROUP tests (good luck if you have not so bright group members). this lady is a total caos. most of her lectures are taken directly from the book, most of the times not prepared. if u are willing to take tests in which u have no clue of what's going on, then take her class.u have to do a lot of researches on-line. if u buy the book with the Cd use the cd, it will be helpfull.

I would like to save you from worrying about a class. Do not take this professor she is very boring and gives too much busy work. At first I was so happy to be taking Psychology but now I regret it.
