Homework everyday. But if you don't miss class and you do your homework she gives you credit for it. Study for the tests she's easy with the assignments but those tests she expects you to know as much as you can. I took her class twice was way behind half way through both times but with her help passed both times.

I'm having a hard time putting into words how much I loved this professor. Working hard does really benefit you (especially if you're going on in Theory) but she is excellent at allowing you to move at your own pace. She's fun, wise, creative, motivated and genuinely cares about her students. I miss being in her classes!

Awesome class, learned a lot. Concert Report is very interesting as she allows you to attend Broadway Shows to do your report on. Very helpful and you get the opportunity to learn at your own pace although she has "suggested due dates" everything has to be turned in before the end of the quarter. Great class!

The best teacher I have had to date. My first quarter at EWU and she has made my life there the best!!! I bugged her at times and she didnt react as the others do. You know what I mean. She knows the subject well, assigns the work to ensure you do well. I have never attended music anything nor do I play a instrument. The class was great!! She is A+

I think she may have ADHD or something...she seems kind-of ditzy. The textbook would pretty much teach you everything you need to know because when she teaches, it feels like she doesn't know what her own point is. She's VERY nice, though. :)
