Expects students to know more than class has been exposed to. Does not understand classroom dynamics. Teaches much more as an EE/CE course than a CS course. Not very knowledgeable about most subjects covered. Very ambiguous about homeworks but they are graded harshly, as are the exams. Cancelled class before the midterm.

Avoid her like the plague. There are plenty of actual CMSC teachers who teach this course at different times, but she obviously knows nothing about CS. This class is apparently designed for CE majors, and they seem to do REASONABLY well, but her lectures are a joke, tests are ridiculous, and she expects you to know WAY too much.

This is not a hard class but it is a lot of work. The final project is really intense so get started early. She is really helpful if you go to her office and ask questions. Anyone who says this class is impossible is probably too lazy to keep up with the work. Read the book, do the hw, do your labs early and youll be fine.

She is the dumbest prof that i ever seen. She cannot teach and doesn't know how to teach. All she does in class is ask you these questions "what do you think the answer is?" "Is that the correct answer, why?" Basically, you have to learn the material on your own!!!

This class has a near 50% fail/drop rate. Be prepared to work your butt off. She will spend as much time to answer questions in class. It is a difficult subject matter for those who hate programming.
