Comment:

Worst teacher I've ever had in my life. Outright rude and disrespectful, especially if you ask questions. She talks for most of the class and is extremely hard to understand and then if you ask her about something she said an hour and a half ago she somehow becomes offended as if you weren't paying attention. Test are ridiculously rushed as well.

Honestly, Dr, O means well, but she doesn't connect very well with students. She will expect you to remember everything from Unity of Life, and she will probably scold you if you forget one little detail. Don't be fooled though, she is very smart and will help those who show a real interest in the class. Just don't be offended if she gets moody.

Dr. O is extremely knowledgeable however she portrays this information in a way that is very difficult for students to understand. You must attend every class and study your notes daily or her exams will kill you. Go to her office, she will explain things better but she is a HARD professor.

Dr. O means well, she does. A little hard to understand sometimes but half the professors here are that way. Go to class everyday, I mean, come on you're paying for it. Do your homework and study. She doesn't like minuscule questions. It's not an easy course but it's doable. Had her for Unity Lab, stay on your toes in cellbio and biotech.

Dr O is the worst professor I have ever had. She expects seniors to remember things they learned their freshman years. She has outright called the class stupid many times. She has also told me that I ask stupid questions. Our average on the lab exams was a 33%. Avoid at all costs.

I am a junior in college, and Dr. O is by far the worst professor I have had yet. Expects us to know much more than what we do, then if we say we don't know an answer she gets mad and basically tries to humiliate you in front of the class. I would recommend not taking this class with her if at all possible.

She is strick with her rules (attending class, turning things in on time, being on top of things, etc.).The due dates of assignments conflicted with the due dates on the syllabus and she doesn't tell class about some assignments (just expects you to check D2L). But she is a great knowledgeable teacher. Stay on top of things and you will do great.

I'm a very good student and her class was not easy. Her accent is difficult to understand because it's hard to tell which things are important and which are not. She doesn't emphasize the important things. I think she is probably intelligent but it is hard to get things across to students. No papers,lecture exams are taken on D2L lab exams in class

I don't even think she really understands basic science principles. She certainly has no concept how to communicate with anyone under 50 --or maybe its just done differently wherever she is from. Thankfully she is gone for the year --hopefully forever. Her hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Worst. Teacher. Ever. I'm a senior majoring in biology and she managed to confuse me on subjects I had already learned. That's pretty amazing. She is extremely intelligent and loves her subject, but she is a very horrible teacher. She's going on sabbatical for a year, so students that need to take Cell should get it done now!

Worst teacher I have ever had. This will be my first C I have ever got at UW-Platteville, I'm usually an A student with very few B's. She doesn't care about the students. Picks on people and yells at them if they don't know the answer to the question. She expects you to know too much. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Actually told our class she didn't like teaching the class, took 2 months to hand some stuff back, contradicts herself, I scheduled an appointment to get help and when I showed up she told me she didn't have time for me. Made me hate cell biology and I am a bio major

She is a very credible person, but has absolutely no remorse or care for her students. She will do whatever it takes to create more work for her students and less work for herself. Her TA's correct assignments and tests even when they are enrolled in the course themselves, we often have to resubmit work for grading corrections. Very much disliked!
