Hardest professor I have ever had in my life!!! She is a tough grader and belittles her students. I suggest lot and lots of tutoring and make sure that when you are working on your paper you constantly reach out to her for feedback. She likes to feel needed by her students. So glad it's over!! Would never take her again!!

Sociology is a difficult study in general. The key to passing her class is to review the material every week and see how it comes together with all her stories. She is willing to help anyone who needs it. She requires the class to be politically correct all the time and that can get aggravating. Participating in class is essential to passing!!!

THIS PROFESSOR WAS THE VERY WORST PROFESSORTEACHER THAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN ALL OF MY YEARS OF SCHOOL AND COLLEGE. REFUSED TO HELP ANYONE, ESPECIALLY MALE STUDENTS AND WAS UNWILLING TO HELP ANYONE ONCE THE CLASS DECIDED NOT TO ATTEND AN EXTRA CLASS THAT SHE WANTED US TO ATTEND. I'M SURPRISED SHE IS STILL A PROFESSOR ON THIS CAMPUS.

It's a tough subject and a difficult class. The textbook can be confusing so it's important to come to class so she can explain the more difficult topics. She assigns a twenty page paper that you half to do in groups. Make sure you start on it early! Go to her often for feedback on what you've written. She expects a lot out of you. Good luck.

She's not a bad person, at times. She can go on and on and on which makes you lose track because sooner or later it will tun into a personal story and you forget what the lecture was about. If you actually participate and try then you should pass but if you can take another professor I'd recommend you do so.

Can be nice, also can be rude and degrading. I hated attending her class, students were usually attacked if they had a question about the material. I felt very uncomfortable. Very tough grader, knows her stuff but goes off topic.

Very nice but this woman never shuts up lol. Always talking about her degree and her parents and Italians. She knows her stuff so notes are important and her M/C tests can be a bit confusing so studying is also key. But she can get easily distracted if you start sharing stories with her, then she'll def. never stop talking

Dr. Tardi is a tough teacher. You must show up to every class, take notes, and really get involved to grasp the materials. She is very helpful though, and worked with me when I started struggling towards the end of the semester. She knows her stuff and really tried hard to help my class grasp the concepts before moving on to senior seminar.

Best teacher ever!! loved this class. she makes everything very interesting. projects are super small and easy. i loved her!! no matter how tired i was i never fell asleep. tests a little hard but she reviews. no curves or extra credit but still an amazing class. highly recommended!!!

Her class is more of a discussion based class which helps you realize different cultural backgrounds. I rarely missed the class, it was so interesting,Gives study guide of essays,5 essays will be on the test but the other questions are intertwined to the multiple choice! B+ didnt read just did the study guide.1 paper, uses articles start early.
