TERRIBLE teacher. Makes the material more convoluted and the tests harder than they should be. Lectures are so boring and repeats himself a lot. Only goes over theoretical concepts and gives very few examples. Tests are half theory half problems and would ask us to prove theorems. Assigns online projects that are useless. Annoying to talk to.

His lectures seemed to be word for word from the book (mundane, no depth). I struggled with some of the conceptual and theoretical parts of the material, which is unfortunate because I would say 75% of his tests/quizzes are more based on theory than procedure. Make sure you try to do well on the quizzes, the problems are very similar on the tests.

Pretty good teacher, considering most mathematics professors are horrible. He clearly puts some thought into his lectures prior to coming. Tests are very conceptually-based - knowing procedure is not enough for an A.

Brilliant with the material and a decent teacher. He isn't that concerned if you understand the material or not. However, he will help you if you ask. Practice tests are not very similar to actual tests (the real tests are much harder).

Pretty good teacher. He is very generous when grading tests and quizzes, and gives you a review test to practice for the tests/exams. But it is a class that you need to show up for every day.

Very good teacher.He gives "suggested" problems that he will go over during class if you don't get certain problems. He explains things very well and gives lots of examples. A week before the tests he puts up practice tests that are very helpful. I would recommend this teacher to anyone taking Calc. etc.

Weekly quizzes (lowest 2 dropped) helped to learn material and prepare for the tests. Keep up with the suggested homework, and the class is easy. If you have questions about HW problems he will take the time to help. Make sure to get the solutions manual!
