Okay, I really didn't like this class its easy but I don't like the fact that it lacked a college feel. I felt like I was in a high school class that the students ran. The test have things on them that were never spoken of, but she gives you a chance to fight for some points if you start till the end. Over all I wouldn't take her again.

The 900 bucks to take this class would be better off spent on something that will actually help you learn... Just sayin- There are no reviews for the exams- not even thorough enough lectures, and hardly any structure for the class to begin with. If you want to get your money's worth, spend your money elsewhere.

don't buy the textbook. go to the library and use the free one if you really need it. she can seem condescending at times, but overall is nice. the tests are easy if you attend class. lectures were interesting - she often went off on tangents but you'll like the discussions if you like anthropology or sociology. i definitely recommend her class.

This prof. is NOT a walk in the park. If she's in a good mood, she's easy, but watch out when she's on the rampage. The paper is graded either a 50 or 100, so LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS. I got an A, but the test varied wildly in difficulty (I got two 80s, two 100s). Take good notes, and make a friend in the class to work with.

Easiest class ever! Just attend class and take notes. 4 exams which come straight from the notes and movies we watch in class. Have to do one paper - which is a paragraph and 3 sentences! People complaining are probably just lazy. No need to buy the textbook.

She is a cool prof. There is no need to buy a text. She NEVER uses it. Her tests are based on her lectures and her opinions. It's not mandatory to attend class, but it would be smart to considering that's your only source of notes. She has a "research paper" that is just a paragraph(easy 100). Overall its pretty easy. Just listen to her lectures.

She's really interested in showing you a different side of the world. You may not always agree with her on everything but she really helps you to broaden your horizons and think about things in a different way. Definitely worth your time!!!

Here's the thing: i took her class off of several ratings saying she was easy-HOWEVER, although the "paper" is a joke and was simply a couple hours research tagged with an instant 100, tests kill u. not for level of difficulty, but for stuidity-she says u dont need the book-but tests have personal q's and random crap

I took her cultural anthropology class in the spring 2006. I liked that lady. She is very easy and really just wants us to learn certain things that she wishes she knew when she was a student. I also enjoyed the interaction I had with my classmates. One thing though, her class was EARRLY! It's an easy class as long as you don't skip it.

She is so weird and is **** and **** and she will tell you. If you go to class you will get an A. Her tests are what she tells you and everything she says is right even if a book tells you differently! She hates text books. It is an easy A!!!
