Dr. Williams never comes prepared to lectures. He literally goes off topic for most of the class then lectures for like 15 mins. He has a lot of clicker questions that simply test how much you memorized the first paragraph of an assigned reading he gave you. The lab grade for this class is actually worth more than your exam grade so watch out.

Williams does not come to lecture or lab prepared. He is very contradictory. Doesn't appreciate opposition of any sort. Yelling at students is not beneath him. Williams does not explain anything clearly. Williams is an ineffective teacher. Quizzes for the readings only test whether you've read the first paragraph is excruciating detail.

Nothing on his exams are what's taught in his class. All his exam questions come from the practice quizzes he has available on myclasses but, the practice quizzes are unrelated to what you do in class. For labs you are also required to work in groups, if your partner does bad you will get penalized for not encouraging them enough or teaching them

He teaches you more about how to get a good job than cell biology. Some of the lab work is interesting, most is unrelated to the topic, but you learn skills you'll need as a biologist. Brush up on your chemistry (mainly concentration equations). In the long run, if you show up most of the time you can get a B with minimal work.

I took Prof Williams for cell bio and wished that I had another teacher. He does not lecture on the material -- just talks about labs and graphs, focusing on aspects not related to cells. If you want an easy A, take him. If you want to learn, avoid him. Although I did well in the class, I plan to take cell bio again with another professor.

Terrible professor. His lectures define disorganized and quiz questions are not related to how well you understand the material. He can be very condescending when questions are asked or if you get something wrong (i.e. you must not know how to do it -- even though you do).

Probably the most unorganized class I've ever attended at Salisbury University. Exams are in class, online and full of mistakes. Lectures are all over the place, literally. Labs are a disaster. I feel like he makes the material harder than what it should be because of his rants. If you get on his good side, you'll be fine, if not then good luck!

Dr. Williams is a great professor! I took his Astrobiology class. It was a lot of fun and an eye-opening experience not just in Astrobiology, but also to the professional world and how all the fields work together. Lots of group projects and emphasis was placed not just on specific material, but the scientists involved and their other works.

I took this class without taking Organic Chem thinking I would fine. From the first day, he started giving out 'practice' chemistry questions without teaching it. When I went to him for help, he automatically said I shouldn't be in his class. Was even more disrespectful after that. I was focusing more on the chem questions than I was the bio. Awful

Dr. Williams was condescending and makes every situation difficult. He gives out a lot of clicker quizzes and attendance is a must. His Exams were online and challenging. His lectures were not engaging. He assigns multiple assignments in a small time frame and has no structure and does not give adequate feedback. However he does give extra credit.

Literally the worst professor I have ever had at SU. Doesn't demonstrate knowledge of the course material, and questions students ask him seem to confuse him. Also, on his clicker quizzes, there are often more than one correct answer, no answer is correct, or his "right" answer is not actually correct. He is not clear with his instructions either.

Dr. Williams is the worst professor I have ever had. Many times his quizzes (there are about 5 quizzes a week typically) will either have the wrong answer selected as the right answer or there will not even be the right answer as a choice. Most of the time he will not correct the grade because "it doesn't matter anyways."

He changed the curriculum this past semester so everything was through a clicker, even all six of the exams and the final. It's a lot of material to memorize. Labs are boring and the quizzes can be difficult. I banked on getting a C but ended up getting a B because he curved the grades at the end.

Dr. Williams was awesome!! I took him for astrobiology and it was literally the easiest class of my whole life, but I learned so much about the universe. I was never interested in this stuff before his class, but he makes it so fun. Really interesting field trips and not too many tests, and he tells you everything you need to know for them!

I took Dr. Williams for zoo lab and he was awesome, so much so that I plan on taking him for cell bio. He is super nice and approachable and he always made sure to tell you what was on the tests and give you everything you needed to get an A. I kinda slacked a bit but I know I could've done better.

Class wasn't too bad, way better than taking Dr. Erickson for cell biology. Exams were fair and so were lab quizzes. Do well on the lab reports, study and it should be no problem getting a C or better.
