Comment:

Professor Jennings is an expert in his field. With that superb passionate knowledge he presents very interesting, intelligible and meaningful lectures. He shares stories to help connect concepts of many real life reality issues. He encourages discussions and different opinions. Study power points, attend, take notes and study them. Great Class!

Comment:

Tends to get off topic sometimes but he's still a really awesome teacher. He's got a long hair and comes off kinda hippy-ish? His class is pretty easy and fun to be in. He doesn't use the textbook! Also, he doesn't favor parties and shows mostly all pros and cons of each party. Although I'm pretty sure he's democrat.

Doesn't lecture beyond what is right there on PowerPoint , which he used from another professor. Grades easy on term paper, slightly tougher on tests (multi choiceshort answer). Study guide is no help. Repeated same material on power points 3+ times. Interested in the subject, but class was boring. All power points were online. No textbook.

I took Brian at Grossmont College. It was my third attempt at the class, and I finally passed. He is super laid back, funny, nice, and engaging. His easy-going personality made his lectures more interesting. He is clear about his expectations, isn't huge on attendance -although it only benefits you to show up - and is willing to clarify anything.

Jennings is a great teacher. He is very laid back and understanding. He is clear and lets you know what he expects and what the tests will cover. I couldnt have asked for a better teacher for Political Science.

He's a good teacher that doesn't impose his opinions on you too much. Just follow the lectures and you will be fine. He wont punish you for absences, but you will not get a good grade if you do miss class.

He gave very interesting lectures. I took this class late at night after working all day and I always found myself awake and alert. He's a laid back hippee who's very intelligent. I got a B and all I did was pay attention during lectures, I didn't even have to study.

A great teacher. Laid back and doesn't mind if you miss class. Tests come directly from lectures, so the book isn't important. Makes the material interesting and has real respect for students...doesn't mind differing opinions.

Comment:

Brian is a self proclaimed "washed up hippie" and is totally laid back. His class was fun, and he's really cool. Grades strictly from lectures, makes up his own material so don't buy the book, I haven't opened it once. Take this class for easy units.

Jennings isn't a hard teacher, but confusing at times. He has trouble staying focused frequently and he will get behind and rush through certain sections. Knowing the lecture is important for tests. Does have a liberal slant on issues, but thankfully he doesn't present it in an angry/hateful manner.

Don't take him during summer. Taking notes is worthless. Test are pre-written from the ice age. Has to much to say and doesn't know how to say it.
