This was the worst prof I have ever had. I took the class with him for a month and had to drop. He was completely unclear, his notes were a disorganized mess. He didn't explain anything, but expected you to understand what he was thinking. Called people out and forced participation when they were uncomfortable with it. Do not take this class w him

Poor educator. His quizzes and exams dont cover what was learnt in class and have numerical errors all the time. Nearly impossible to pass. Lectures are hard to follow; abbreviates everything and are disorganized. Dont bother asking him for office hours as he is unavailable. From my observations, hes arrogant, devious, monotone and unqualified.

Braga is a great guy, unfortunately he has no idea how to teach! He does not make clear notes to study from nor does he give you a text book. His cases are far beyond the material he teaches and is shocked when 99% of the class complains that they can't prep for the midterm. All in all great guy, horrible teacher.

I've never had a worse teacher in my life. He has no objectives in terms of teaching material you are to be tested on. He has to be the most disorganized and useless professor this school has to offer. He expects you to know the material like him which is totally outrageous.

Okay, where to begin. If you are considering taking a course with him drop it. now. He can't explain anything, can't help you when you need it, tests are hard, doesn't care. Notes are not easy to read. Had the worst experience in this class & would like him fired. Alot of people will agree with me.

Terrible design for a course. Wouldn't have been so bad had it been a consistent design across all sections of MGMT 3320, but he was one of three professors and decided to break from the pack. Not an effective way to learn the concepts, no textbook to assist, and classes were utterly useless but you had to attend regardless to do alright

Hard to understand even a few students could enjoy his teaching. The worst prof I have ever had. He taught all the course content in the first 6 weeks and expected us to be ready to present all the ideas in the first midterm. Thinks he is hilarious but I didn't hear him make one good joke. Made me furious with his teaching and the class ismandatory

The class is terribly structured and Braga wastes valuable time with reviews of news articles and other useless "industry information". So much "noise" in the class material it's really hard to figure out what few concepts are actually important. Another wasted opportunity, or, par for the course at UoGuelph Econ/Finance.

Tries to be funny when he's clearly not. Rips through material whether you understand it or not. Singles students out in class discussion and makes you feel uncomfortable if you don't understand. The guy means well but his style of teaching is subpar at best! Made class discouraging to even attend sometimes.

Many people dislike this prof but he is by far the best accounting prof I have ever had. He is an investment guy, not an accounting guy. His teaching style involves relating everything to real world scenarios.. uses lots of repetition which is great for long-term memory and attempts to simulate real job task through exams. Must prepare well.

Braga is without a doubt the best accountint professor. Not hard to look good compared to bates, but he made the class interesting. Clear expecations and a weekly case that were really good for understanding. The midterms /project helped to understand. Bravo for Braga!!! Gotta love them suspenders!

This class is fundamentals of derivatives, not risk management. Good and useful material but we need the base theory before this level of analysis. He needs to teach us how to read a quote, or explain the different types of securities, before talking about market to market and margin accounts.

This is the worst professor I have found in my life. Extremely unfair with the evaluation.The course was a total loss of time and energy. Take it somewhere else. The texbook chosen is very confuse and his presentations are garbage.

I think Prof. Braga teaches well. Life isn't just theory and life is tough; he gives us derivatives the way they are. if you're looking to learn, and get extremely useful industry exposure, this is the prof to take

I may have been the only person ever to look forward to a derivatives course! He changed my opinion on the whole profession. If option trading is a tenth as complicated as he made it out to be, I am surprised anyone can grasp it. His saving grace was a final designed to push people over the 50 barrier.

Dr. Braga was one of the worst professors I ever had at the U of Guelph. He thinks he knows everything, and he created a course pack which is useless. He was unfair, and would not listen to students. I would not recommend him as a professor at all. He is a black mark on the U of Guelph's AGEC dept.
