I actually really enjoyed this class and seemed to be doing very well in it. On the last day of class I was told that she hadn't gotten around to reading my final paper leaving me with a B in her class, when I had a solid A the whole time. It was upsetting that my grade would change by a whole letter grade over a paper she didn't read.

for a person who's never been good at English, i actually got an A in this class. Her teaching methods may be a little unpolished, but the topics we study are fascinating. 1) choose a book that most interests you, 2) have fun researching and writing papers 3) BAM... you get an A. For an honors class, I expected a little more...

i find her guidelines for the essays to be really confusing. her notes often don't make sense and are harsh. everything that is on the syllabus is not talked about or gone over until the week before it happens, which i find to be hard to keep up with. i really like her as a person, but her teaching methods are a bit... scattered.
