Comment:
Prof B is a great person. He's very kind. But as a teacher? Not so much. His lectures are all over the place and he goes too fast in class. He doesn't know how to use canvas and won't post material. Myself and others spent the whole class trying to snap pics of the slides before he changed them. It was a really frustrating class. Take someone else.

Comment:
Do not take if you are a psychology major! Prof Bianchino is very nice and all, but not well suited to teach a college class. He spends most of the time telling stories or reading straight out of the book. Nothing is really organized, and you won't learn anything unless you read the whole book yourself. I feel like I missed out on the subject.

the class time is spent with him telling personal stories, and you never learn anything factual. 100% of what you learn will be out of the book. However, since he is the one creating the tests, sometimes the questions are completely irrelevant and you never covered it because his mind is all over the place. Dont take this if you are a psych major.

Professor Bianchino has to be my favorite teacher of all time. He has the best stories to go along with his material concepts. He truly cares about his students success and goes that extra mile for his returning students. His first hand knowledge about the subject he teaches never makes for a dull moment. Awesome A+ teacher all the way! Ms. Abrams

This guy is great. A Vietnam Vet and really knows his stuff. All of his tests are straight out of the book - so be prepared to read and take very good notes outside of class, which can take some time. However, this class was an easy A and as long as you show up and participate, if you are on the cusp, he will bump you up a little.

While Professor Bianchino is an amazing man with many stories, they aren't always relevant stories. His tests are based purely off of the book unless he decides to do a short answer. The tests are also open note, so if you take notes on the book, you should do well.

4 tests, super easy if you take notes, which you can use on the tests. 2 pop quizzes, easy. Good lectures, inspirational stories. Takes role, so make sure you attend class. No papers, just read the book and you'll get an A. Extra credit for perfect attendance. Sweet professor, definitely recommend.

About 4 open note tests. 2 "pop" quizzes. Take extremely detailed notes and you can't not get an A. He gives funny lectures and stories.

Professor Bianchino is a really nice guy but one thing that really got to me was the tests! Besides the textbooks that we need to buy he has like 3 other books he uses for lecture notes that appear on the test which I thought wasn't fair because we couldn't get all the material. All tests are open note though and grade is based off of the tests.

This class is very easy. If you just need to get your general ed done definitely take him. If you are a psychology major and actually need to know and understand the information do not take him. Tests are open note. Read the textbook and take notes. No reason to not get an A. He is very sweet too.

He was a really nice guy, but I really wanted to learn at least something about psychology and I didn't learn anything. He would kind of read from the book and then give false information. The tests he gave us had nothing to do with what we learned or was in our books. The tests were open note though which was nice.

If you're a psych major (or anyone) DONT TAKE. He regurgitates facts from the book incorrectly. His class notes are a joke. I have an A in the class only because I read the book. Make sure to check his test scoring abilities, he ALWAYS adds scores up wrong. He's too old to be teaching.

Professor Bianchino is a super sweet man. I enjoy his class and his lectures are very inspiring. The tests were open notes however still very difficult. I found that the notes I took in class really did not pertain to the test. That part was frustrating. Not a fan of the textbook either.

Took this class Fall 2014. He takes the majority of the notes STRAIGHT from the book. Just copy down the stuff he takes from the book for your notes. Quizzes are usually once a week, open notes. If you take detailed notes youll pass. NO FINAL. Perfect teacher for an easy A if you try! TAKE HIM

I didnt buy the book and I got an A in his class. His tests are open note so if you write down the major points that he makes in lecture, you will pass. He is the sweetest man and legitimately cares about your success. He can be sort of vague at times but I would take a class by him again FOR SURE. If you don't love Frank, I don't love you.

Really easy, open note quizzes, also exactly what is wrong with the education system and tenure. This guy does not do anything for the class, all he does is give quizzes directly from the people who make the book and proceeds to somehow mess up the key for the scantron on half of the quizzes. A pretty nice guy but he needs to be let go right away.

Easiest class I've ever taken!!! Every test is open note and he's a very nice guy. Dont take if you're actually genuinely interested in psychology though but go to class and take notes from the book and do questions in back of chapter.. if you dont get an A then you didnt try at all
