The lecture is incredibly boring, his voice pretty much lulls you to sleep. Sometimes it is hard to understand what he is saying due to his accent. However, the homework is straightforward and the tests are simple since most of the questions come from the practice exams.

I went in taking this class instead of 120 because I heard it was less math, SO wrong! The beginning is ALL physics so i dropped it as soon as i could. Its so hard to listen in his lectures because his voice is so soothing you fall right asleep. Everyone around me in the lecture was either sleeping, texting or doodling. Don't take this class.

I would strongly suggest NOT taking this class if you have a hard time dealing with the feeling that you have absolutely no idea what's going on while still maintaining a decent grade. My TA was nice, but not very helpful, and Krennrich has a very frustrating way of over complicating everything to the point of absolute confusion. NOT a good class.

When I first took this class it said, "Astronomy for the non-scientist." Ok, that's fine. Then Krennrich said, "There will be a little math in the beginning." ...ok. WRONG. It's ALL math. ALL of it! I can't understand him and he doesn't explain ANY of it. It's rediculous.

I don't remember anything being particularly hard. It was fun. The physics is basic, and I'm a sociology major (so that says a lot). I made it to class 75% of the time and didn't study very hard at all. He's not hard to understand unless you've been cooped up and don't meet any people... ever.

I thought Krennich was a good teacher. He taught was I hoped to learn in class. If you do your homework, you're good for the tests. He has a slight accent, but it isn't really a problem.

Not what I expected at all! He's a very smart man but he cannot teach. The class is boring. More math based than expected. You never really know what's going to be on the test even when you ask, so studying is basically useless. And the book doesn't help clarify either because its boring and he doesn't even follow it. Avoid this class if you can!!

I've had bad teachers before, but he is THE worst. It was the highlight when I asked him a question and explained that it was magical. I believe he is a very smart man, he is just a horrible teacher.

This is hands down, the worst professor I have ever had. He has no idea how to teach a class. If it wasn't for recitation I would have failed the class because of him. I strongly suggest not taking this class with him!

Certainly the worst class I've had because: 1.) The prof cannot teach. He just can't. It's really too bad. 2.) He does not communicate what is expected to either you, nor the TAs. Don't EVER expect to be on the same page as anybody else. 3.)He refuses to better himself or his way of teaching even though problems with both persist to a high degree.

I took astro 120 because I didn't want to take chem or physics, but with this professor you go into some heavy physics. Some material was interesting, but he goes into some hard and unecessary physics concepts that shouldn't even be taught in astro 120. His tests are also difficult and can be really tricky, but usually have a pretty great curve.

I thought Professor Krennrich was a great teacher. He does go a little heavily into the physics sometimes, that is only because he wants you to learn and understand the concepts. The physics you actually have to remember for tests is only the basic stuff.

I thoroughly disliked this class. Prof. Krennrich is a nice guy, but he teaches this introductory astronomy course like a graduate-level physics professor. Most of the test information was only briefly mentioned in class and poorly discussed in the text
