I dont understand why the low remarks. He is a very cool guy who loves to help you with everything. He literally will not let you fail. but he does make you pay attention and his tests can be a little hard. Wont let you use laptop or phone. gives class a break. he was good i thought.. although can be boring.

I do not understand why he is getting such awful ratings. Yes, he is old and cannot hear very well. But he really wants you to succeed and do well in the class. His tests are hard, but doing all the homework will significantly add to your grade. Sometimes makes mistakes on the board but jokes around and makes it fun. do not need to purchase textboo

Gary Bunce is the nicest teacher I think I have ever had, and I can't believe he has bad ratings on here. He is more than willing to help you on problems you have. His class is a little slow paced, but it is easy. Everything that he teaches in class is the same stuff on the tests, and there are no surprises on the tests. Very sweet guy.

Worst teacher I have ever had! Took calc. in high school and got an easy A...and barely passed this lower level class. Doesn't explain at all, homework easy, but tests are extremely hard, and he is never willing to help. I saw his bad ratings prior to taking this class and thought I could handle him, but I WARN YOU, he is impossibly to tolerate!

Terrible. Made it much more difficult than it should have been. Gets his own examples wrong. Mumbles a lot. He tries to help, but he just isn't good at teaching. Homework was easy, but Tests/Quizzes were difficult.

I cant believe he got bad ratings, im in his CS class and hes the best teacher ive ever had. He delayes exams if people dont understand. He is helpful and take one on one time with you. I guess I dont know about his math classes, but CS is a great class to take with him cuz he does help you and wants you to do good.

Mr. Bunce was a horrible teacher. He did not have a clue what he was talking about. He was very inconsistant in his grading. I would NOT recommend taking this class, or any class he teaches!

Its true bunce's classes are hard, but if you had any question he was always more than willing to help. He knows what he is talking about and is passionate about what he is teaching. Sit in the front row and make sure he learns who you are and that you care and from there he will make sure you get through his class just fine!

Very very difficult teacher! Highly recommend NOT taking him!! Terrible! Tests are really hard, and he writes terrible and goes really fast in class so it's hard to keep up.
