Honestly learned a lot. I took this class expecting it to be easy having taken phys 1 and 2. It really wasn't. The exams were short and seemed easy but the multiple choice q's were worth 10 points each and tricky. 1 midterm, 1 final and hw each 1/3 of the grade. He gave an extremely generous extra credit project which definitely improved my grade.

Amazing course! This is the second part of graduate Quantum Theory and we covered almost completely the second part of Sakurai's texbook. We had a lot of homework to do and that encouraged the hard working and the deep thinking.

Professor Goldstein is nice and fine with answering questions, but his lectures are confusing and the class really isn't designed for non-science students. As someone who studied really hard for the class and actually did okay, don't take this class if you don't have a passion for physics, or at least some kind of background in it.

He's a nice guy, is pretty much exactly what you expect from an older physics professor. However, this course was falsely advertised, do not take it if you don't have a background in physics. If you don't enjoyunderstand hard science, and are taking it as a humanities major for a requirement, don't take this class. It is too advanced and confusing

He's definitely a researcher and not a teacher. Most of his lectures consist of inexplicable mumbling and his powerpoints just lift everything straight out of the textbook. Don't take his class if you can avoid it.

Worst professor I've ever had. Didn't do problems himself, only lectured on how you "would" do them. I didn't learn anything from this class, only pulled remembering my some high school physics. He let everyone bring formula sheets with anything written on them though. I felt like i was taking an online class.

Goldstein is an education researcher, but definitely not an educator. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.
