Prof really cares about students. Available for extra help. Yeah, its a lot of work but its expected for ur major. Do the HW, based off textbook. Quizzes. About 3 exams. Final at the end. Take good notes.

The best professor at Iona. Amazing lectures, everything clearly explained. Lots and lots of homework. Tests are like homework assignments. Textbook was needed for some assignments, not much reading. Worked hard in this class and learned and retained a lot of info. Prof comes across very strict at first, but wants everyone to succeed. A gem.

This was my favorite finance class. Professor Mangiero really knows his Corporate Finance. I have to say, this class is one of the more challenging classes you will take, but it really gives you an understanding of corporate finance and what it entails, becuase he has you calculate problem answers by hand. I highly reccomend this class.

I love Professor Mangiero! He's the sweetest and is willing to help anyone in need. There is a lot of homework at times, but it helps because then you don't need to study as much for the test or quiz. He knows a lot about Finance and I have learned so much and it's only halfway through the semester. Work hard and you will get the grade you deserve!

By far the smartest, most helpful prof I ever had. For people who claim he doesn't care about students... he gives out his home number and returns messages in less than a day to help you. People that complain about the homework he gives are lazy and looking to coast to an easy MBA. It's earned, not given.

A hard subject at first with a lot of work and studying involved, but after the initial shock of all the formulas and rigid structure, the class is not so bad. Mangiero is a tough but excellent teacher. Take the class and you'll get a great appreciation of how he teaches!

He's a nightmare. Yes finance is hard, but he makes it even harder. You HAVE to memorize every single formula. If you make an error on the formula or the math, the entire problem is wrong. He assigns problems for homework before he teaches how to solve them and grades them. To add on to the torture, his final is cumulative. Save your GPA and avoid him at any cost

Terrible experience, forced to withdraw, set me back a lot of money and a trimester in graduating. He has no regard for the working student, too much HW. He does not care about the student, very rigid and "old school" in teaching methods. No use of Excel or technology to solve. DO NOT RISK TAKING THIS PROF in the MBA program
