wears a white suit, white top hot and bow tie. Absolutely hilarious to look at so at least there's that. but the class is boring and useless, he talks endlessly. you're just there to laugh at his antics.

If you want a class with absolutely no homework, take it. He's extremely lecture heavy and just talks and talks, but I sat on my computer and phone the whole time. The only thing you need to do is 5/6 papers. You're prob not going to get a A, but if you go to the writing center for every paper you'll get a b/b+, taking him again next semester

Awful teacher, in class he just lectures the entire time about things that have no relevance to the course. Also he is extremely unclear about his expectations and the essay topics are also very unclear.

This is by far one of the worst classes I've taken at Monmouth. Classes are very boring I pretty much slept through every single one. He also never stops talking about nothing and laughs at his own jokes. Papers are super hard and he grades them super harshly. The grade you get on your first paper, you will get on the rest. Do not recommend.

Cook is your whacked out grandfather that dresses like the came out of the Great Gatsby. The guy talks about nothing for the entire class. He lols at his own jokes Comes into class everyday with bow tie and top hat. But most simple syllabus out there, make it thru the unbearable classes and do 4 essays. seriously the most boring thing youll ever do

One of the worst teachers I've taken at Monmouth. He taught nothing about English, yet assigned papers. He is far too old to still be teaching, and needs to retire because he is not suited to teach. He gave no guidance in class and criticized saying "You could do better" but doesn't instruct on how to do better.

Easily the most boring teacher I've ever had. He likes to make jokes that everyone sarcastically laughs at, but he's a nice guy. His papers have unclear instructions and he grades them with no remorse. He is very lenient with hand in dates. My advice do not take him unless you'd like a nice hour and fifteen minute nap.

Professor Cook is a very "dry" teacher. The whole class is lecturing about nothing. He is constantly 10 minutes late to class. Whatever grade you receive on the first paper is, more than likely, the grade you will get on the rest of your assignments. Would not recommend.

Professor cook is a very nice man however, he rarely just gives out A's. In his syllabus it stats that a paper must be extraordinary to receive an A. Also he is late to every class by at least 5 minutes.On the other hand the class is very laid back and there are no homework assignments.

He is very dull but if you want an A take his class! Two papers that he grades very easily on and a midterm and final that you get to choose the questions you answer. He says you need to do the reading but then he summarizes everything during class. Anything that will be on an exam he writes on the board. Very nice old man

Cute old man always wears his bowtie. Doesn't really use the workbook and if you don't have then he'll just have you read on with someone near you. Don't really know what he wanted on his papers. Every one of them I received a C+. Puts people to sleep a lot and drones on and on.

He's this cute old man that loves to tell stories. You don't even have to always go to his class. Just don't miss over five classes total and do all the essays he assigns (like four or five) and you'll be fine.

Attendance is not at all mandatory. Although he is EXTREMELY BORING the class isnt hard and the only work you get is inclass papers. I would take him because the only downside is how boring he is.
